Today was better. I wore my pink panther shirt. Found the same Sunday street vendor outside of campus with those amazing croissants (this is becoming a regular habit). Had a productive chamber group rehearsal—Mendelssohn is beginning to sound like Mendelssohn. Laughed at this wonderful photo.

I’m eating my Fuji apples with chamomile tea from home. Reading Genesis. Listening to new bandcamp albums. There’s a new week tomorrow. I’m thinking about the last letter I wrote and an old motto: per aspera ad astra.

Whatever it takes. Not to sound melodramatic or anything, but—I just want to see tomorrow’s light.
